The BEST mascara

Hi everyone! I’m sorry for being a super bad blogger and not posting again for ages, I’ve been busy trying to sort my UCAS form out! Anyways on a less serious not, I may have found the best mascara, and in super happy about it! During the October half term I went on a little shopping spree, and bought many things one of which being the the Benefit Roller Lash. I’m sure many people have go on about this but it really is an amazing mascara. It gives length more than volume in my opinion and is perfect for a everyday make up look. It’s the only mascara that I’ve found to not drop under my eyes and make me look like a panda! For that reason alone it’s incredible! It’s not cheap, but mascaras aren’t cheap even from the drugstore and I don’t mind paying extra for such an amazing product. What’s your favourite mascara?

My current obsession

Hi everyone! I’m so sorry for being absent from blogging, I’ve been super busy with college! I currently have also been obsessed with Pretty Little Liars (I’m on season 3 so don’t tell me who A is!) I am absolutely addicted! I think I’m going to cry when I catch up! I never really understood what the big deal was about it but now I’m hooked. If you haven’t watched it I’d highly recommend it!

50 things that make me happy

Hi everyone! How are you all today? Another different post today however a very important one at that, I think it’s really important to appreciate little things that make you happy!

1. CANDLES! I love a good candle especially in Autumn and Winter; makes everything feel so cosy!
2. A freshly made bed, I don’t think there’s anything better than getting into a freshly made bed.
3. Animals, I love so many animals from more exotic animals like elephants to pets such as dogs. I used to ride so horses are another favourite animal of mine.
4. Handbags, I love a good handbag. I’d say it’s one of my staple pieces-I’ll always have a handbag on me if you see me!
5. Fresh flowers; they smell so good!
6. Shopping, I’m an absolute shopaholic! Shopping never fails to put me in a better mood!
7. Deals, I am always one to get a good deal. I very rarely pay full price-constantly finding the best price and saving money using my student card.
8. Lush – everything in that place smells incredible. They’re all so pretty and I especially love the bath bombs.
9. Baths – nothing beats a bath with a lush bath bomb!
10. Face masks – I’m all for a good pamper.
11. New technology – I hate having a phone for longer than a year. I get bored, obviously you have to keep your phone longer than a year but if money wasn’t an issue I’d change it every 6 months or so!
12. Friends – my friends make me so happy, they’re the best people ever. Always know how to cheer me up.
13. My blog – I really didn’t think I’d last blogging this long but I’m so glad I have! I love blogging and all my fellow blogging friends! You all mean so much to me.
14. Sleep – I love a good nights sleep, this doesn’t happen often though!
15. Winter – I love winter, the snow, cold, rain, coats! Just so cosy!
16. Make up – I love finding new make up items via recommendations of fellow bloggers.
17. Stationary – I love a good notebook, not to mention those pretty pens!
18. Being organised – I LOVE to be organised and feel on top of things. This makes me very happy!
19. Taking my make up of – I find this a weirdly satifying thing.
20. Nature – I live in the countryside; I love how peaceful it is.
21. Horse riding – I love riding it’s a passion of mine.
22. New girl and casualty – my two favourite TV programs.
23. Good food – I really appreciate a good meal, mmm.
24. Chocolate – who doesn’t love chocolate!
25. Sunsets – they’re so pretty!
26. Traveling – My dream is to travel the world!
27. Driving – I love the freedom you get being able to go anywhere, anytime.
28. A cold shower – it’s so refreshing to have a cold shower in the summer.
29. Costa – I am a costa addict! I should have a seat reserved in there!
30. Youtube – I watch youtube most days and am obsessed!
31. Photos – I have several pictures in frames up in my room of me and my friends and am hoping to start scrapbooking!
32. Being a good person – it makes me really happy when I do things to help other people such as giving for charity.
33. My pandora – it contains memories and my family usually buys me charms for my birthday so it reminds of them.
34. A good outfit – I love having a great outfit that makes you feel together and on top of everything.
35. Straightening my hair – I have naturally curly hair which I don’t mind however I love to straighten it as I look completely different and it totally sets me up for a good day (yes I know its just my hair but being well presented makes me happy)
36. Volunteering – I volunteer once a week and I find this really enjoyable and it makes me happy to help other people.
37. Work – I’m really glad to have a job so I can buy myself lovely things and its really rewarding to know you earned whatever you buy!
38. A hot drink in the winter – I love to snuggle up with a hot chocolate in the winter!
39. Discovering new music – I love it when I find some new music which I love! Let me know your favourite songs in the comments, I’d love to know!
40. Taking a good photo – I love taking photos but when I get one I’m happy with it makes me super happy!
41. Netflix – a new addition to my life (started watching so many new programs!!)
42. Coconut Passion fragrance mist – this scent from Victoria secret reminds me of holiday and one of my favourite places.
43. Writing – I love just writing everything I’m thinking, I find it very therapeutic.
44. Studying subjects I love – this is an unusual one as I’m sure many people dislike college or school and I hated school and my subjects in my first year of college but now I’ve found subjects I really enjoy studying and I enjoy learning new things about them.
45. Social media – I love keeping up to date with what everyones doing and posting on my social media.
46. Buying presents for people – I think its the nicest thing when you buy someone a present that they really love.
47. Surprise parties – not for me but planning them! I love the look of surprise on their face and all the work of planning paying off!
48. Dying my hair – I love changing my hair colour.
49. Diet coke – my favourite drink, I could live off it!
50. Smiling and laughter – sums up happiness to me!

Victoria secret fragrance mist//review

Hello everyone! Today I’m bring you a beauty review of the Victoria Secret fragrance mists. I was lucky enough to pick these up from duty free when I was in the Caribbean as they aren’t the easiest things to get hold of in the UK. However I am lucky enough to have 3 of their gorgeous scents. The ones I chose were:

• Love Spell – I love this scent mainly because of the cherry blossom – I think its a lovely light fragrance mist and not too heavy!
• Pure Seduction – it has a lovely scent of red plum and sweet freesia, I really love this scent and I wear it on a day to day basis. I thought these wouldn’t have very strong scents but they do and they last all day!
• Coconut Passion – this is my holiday scent, whenever I want to think about my holiday I spray this on and its like I’m transported back to my holiday. Its a gorgeous vanilla and coconut scent, reminds me of drinking cocktails on holiday!

I love every single one of these scents and I think I’d purchase them all if I could! I’m sure these will last me ages due to the size of the bottles so in my opinion they’re good value for money and a more luxurious option instead of a impulse body spray.

Favourite perfumes

Hi everyone! Hope you all are good! I thought I’d share my favourite perfumes with you all, I haven’t got many perfumes as once I find one I love I just keep repurchasing it until its discontinued! So today I’ll be sharing my top 3 favourite perfumes. Let’s get started:

• Oh Lola! – Marc Jacobs; I love this scent, its has a sweet and fruity scent which I love! I think the packaging is just adorable, and its pink – one of my favourite colours! Its very girly and I love wearing this on a day to day basis.
• Flash – Jimmy Choo – this is something a little different than what I usually go for as its slightly more of a musky floral rather than my usual fruity, floral scent. However I have just finished it up but I’m sure that I’m going to be repurchasing!
• Another Marc Jacobs perfume but this one I’m going to talk about is Dot it has a very fresh floral scent and is very refreshing. It lasts all day and you don’t need to use much of it. The packaging again is very cute, as I think all Marc Jacobs packaging is.

I know this was a short post sorry but I only wanted to mention the perfumes I’ve really love and will repurchase. I’m looking for a new perfume at the moment so any recommendations would be appreciated.

Favourite Youtubers

Hi everyone! I’m sorry its just a short post today but I still really wanted to post so I thought I’d blog about what I spend most of my free time doing… watching Youtube! I love youtube so today I thought I’d share my top 5 youtubers and why I love them!

• Zoella – need I say anymore! I love Zoe, she seems like the sweetest person and I love all of her videos as I’m beauty obsessed. I also am really happy that Zoe has restarted her blog as I love reading all her posts!
• Sprinkle of glitter – Louise is by far my favourite youtuber! She’s so kind and sweet and I love all the confidence she shows and gives to others!
• Gabriella Lindley – she’s seems by far the most down to earth youtube and I love that about her! 
• Emma Blackery – I love the variety of channels Emma has – always something to watch! I even find her gaming videos funny even though I don’t usually watch gaming channels. Her lifestyle channel is also one of my go to channels! 
• Tanya Burr – being make up obsessed I always find that I love watching all of the different looks that Tanya creates as I love trying to recreate the look!

The reason I started blogging

Hi everyone! How are you all? I thought I’d write a post why I started blogging! 

I started blogging back in April 2015 and managed to write 2 posts but soon ran out of time to be able to continue. Then I restarted my blog in August 2015 while on holiday as I had lots of free time and as I really enjoyed blogging I thought I’d make most use of the time and write, write, write! I started a blog to share my love for beauty with people who also have the same interests as me. I love finding new products off fellow bloggers and wanted to review products myself as well. It is just a way for me to share some of my knowledge I’ve gained (hope I have anyway!) and to learn more from others. I think the blogging community is one of a kind, everyone is so lovely. When I first started I was so worried that people wouldn’t like my blog and say it’s rubbish. I remember whenever I saw someone has commented, I’d always worry it was someone saying I’d done a bad post. However this wasn’t the case everyone was really lovely which encouraged me to continue my blog and not give up and make time for it as I love it! When I first started I had no idea how much time it would take, especially trying to post 4 blog posts a week, however I find it very rewarding as soon as a new post goes up! I think blogging is one of the best things I’ve taken up and I’m so glad I started blogging and managed to continue it for a month! It doesn’t seem like a long time but I never thought I’d be able to keep it up!

Hi everyone! A special post today as the lovely Caitlin from caitlinfmc nominated me for the Liebster Award! You should all go and check out her blog as its one of my favourites and she’s really sweet! Caitlin blogs about everything from films, books to beauty so I’m sure theres a post that everyone will love (but you’ll probably love her whole blog like I do!)! Sorry this has taken me so long to do Caitlin, I’ve been so busy sorting my A levels out for this year I just haven’t had a spare moment but I really do appreciate the nomination!

Questions  – 

1. What inspired you to start blogging? I ADORE everything beauty and I wanted a platform where I could share my love for it! Not many of my friends are as make up obsessed as me and I’d rather share and chat about beauty products with people who also share my passion – rather than boring my friends! I love trying to help other bloggers and sharing tips that I’ve picked up along the way as well as learning about new products and discovering blogs. When I relaunched my blog I was on holiday so had lots of free time to write and then just started really enjoying it and now I never want to give it up!
2. Whats your dream career? I haven’t really got a dream career in mind but as long as I’m happy in what I’m doing thats all that matters! I want to study business analytics at university so I assume a career in that – but I’m not sure quite what!
3. What are your three favourite films? Hmm this is a difficult one! I love chick flicks, so I’d have to go with Mean Girls (an absolute classic!), I also love Harry Potter (who doesn’t?!) and my favourite one has to be Harry Potter and the goblet of fire and finally a new favourite film of mine is Kingsman: The Secret Service!
4. Whats your favourite sweet treat? Oh my, I have such a sweet tooth so this is another difficult one for me! However I’d have to go with sticky toffee pudding, in my opinion nothing can beat it (if its done right!)!
5. What was the last book you read? I think the last book I read was Girl Online which I really enjoyed! Theres a review on my blog about it here
6. What is your favourite animal? I’d have to say horses – I love riding and horses are such fascinating animals!
7. Which would you rather, to be super strong or super fast? Super fast, I live out in the countryside and constantly rely on lifts but if I was super fast I could run to work and college in 5 minutes (giving me more time to get ready in a morning too!)
8. Who is your favourite celebrity? As I’m addicted to youtube I think I’ll choose a youtuber – it would either be Zoella or Gabriella as I love both their channels and without fail I watch all their videos!
9. Whats your favourite thing about Autumn? EVERYTHING – Autumn and Winter are my favourite times of year! I love the weather but my favourite thing has to be the candles and bubble baths, they both make you feel so cosy!
10. What is your favourite musical? Probably Joseph and the Technicolour Dreamcoat mainly because I remember going to see this in primary school and I was so excited to go and I loved the Technicoloured Dreamcoat and wanted it for myself!
