Hi everyone! I thought I’d share something a bit more personal with you all, in my 30 facts about me post I said my most treasured possession is my pandora and this is it. I thought I’d share what every bead means to me and why it’s so special. Here is my pandora:
- Bow charm – this was part of the set when I got bought my pandora for Christmas. The set came with the bracelet, the 2 clips (numbers 3 and 10) and this bow charm.
- The horse shoe, brush and boot – I used to ride, in fact I had a horse for a short period of time. Horse riding has always been a passion of mine and is something close to my heart. One day I hope to get back into it.
- Blue mosaic looking charm – this actually was swapped with a white charm with blue spots as it had scratched (however I picked that one up when sales shopping – one of my favourite activities)
- Heart with paw prints – this I bought when we had our family dog, he meant the world to me and I miss him dearly.
- Silver charm with blue hearts – I bought this Christmas of 2014 so it reminds me of my favourite season winter and everything it entails eg Halloween, Christmas spirit etc
- Dog bone – this is the most meaningful charm to me as I bought it the day my dog was put down, in memory of him.
- Open clockwork charm – I was bought this by my mother for my 16th birthday.
- Blue and green triangle bead – my Godmother bought this for me as a birthday present and as I don’t see her that often it reminds me of her.
- The sparkly blue ball charm – I actually bought this for myself for my 17th birthday. I used a gift card from my Aunt and Uncle so it reminds me of them.
- The horse – my Nan chose this for me, I wanted something to remember her as I don’t see her very often as I’d like.
I hope you enjoyed reading about my pandora and why it means so much to me. Every bead has a little memory so everytime I feel down my bracelet reminds me of all the people who are there for me.
Do you have any treasured possessions? What’s your favourite pandora bead? Let me know in the comments below, I’d love to know.
